# ❓ What is QIE Oracle?

**QIE Oracle** is a decentralized data feed system designed to bring real-world asset prices onto the **QIE Layer 1 blockchain**.

Blockchains are inherently closed systems—they cannot directly access external data. Oracles solve this limitation by acting as a secure bridge between off-chain data and on-chain smart contracts.

QIE Oracle enables developers to access **secure, reliable, and tamper-resistant price feeds** for a wide range of assets. This foundational infrastructure supports powerful on-chain applications, including:

* **DeFi protocols** (e.g., lending, borrowing, synthetic assets)
* **Gaming platforms**
* **Decentralized trading**
* **Stablecoins**
* **Tokenized real-world assets (RWA)**

By leveraging QIE Oracle, developers can build applications that interact safely with real-world data—ensuring accuracy, trust, and transparency across the QIE ecosystem.
